| I
have been in professional photography since
1989, the first nine years of which I have concentrated on
the social side of photography. Realising the growing need to provide a
more original and modern product I turned my attentions to developing my
photographic interest in a more documentary style. After obtaining my BA (Hons) in Documentary Photography at the University of Wales Newport, I turned my attentions to documenting projects as far a field as Ghana for Sight Savers International, serving as expedition photographer for Raleigh International, to documenting the dying craftsmanship of the Purbeck stone quarrymen. I now work as a freelance photographer in Corporate, Press and Public Relations, working for a variety of local and national PR companies. My experience includes; conferences, site development, corporate brochures, trade press, corporate portraiture, press shots, ceremonies and visiting dignitaries. I also contribute regularly to the Bournemouth Daily Echo and Society Magazine. Not forgetting my original love, I now incorporate the documentary style into my social work, which helps me to provide a more natural and modern reportage style in all my lifestyle portraits and weddings. Based in Bournemouth, Dorset, I cover the south coast and am available for commissions anywhere nationally and internationally. Using the latest professional 35mm digital equipment I have the ability to provide a fast turn around. |
